On April 10, 2019, a photo exhibition dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Kazakh-Chinese joint project “One belt, one road” was opened at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2018, the Chinese people celebrated the 40th anniversary of political reforms carried out in the state. From 1978 to 2018, the Chinese Communist Party united all Chinese people, competently controlled the people, have been engaged in policy reforms, they came to their own path to socialism and achieved high results.

Deputy Director of the National Museum Abai Satubaldin: “The People’s Republic of China has a special place in the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The initiative of the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping “One belt, one road” was supported by over 100 countries as soon as possible. The head of state N. Nazarbayev noted the importance of this project, pointed out the economic benefits of this project, linked it with the program “Nurly Zhol”. Thus, the work carried out in this direction gave positive results. The cultural ties of both nations are developing with great speed. Today's exhibition is the result of joint efforts. Tomorrow at the Chinese National Museum will present an international exhibition on the theme: "Sharing a common future: treasures from national museums, along the silk road." From the fund of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 15 rare archeological artifacts were provided. This event strengthens bonds of friendship between two countries, said Deputy Director A. Satubaldin.

In the modern world, unilateral political actions are developing; the economic development of countries is deteriorating. The President Xi Jinping noted that: “China is always open to the whole world. And in the future it will become wider. For 40 years, the people of the PRC have gained tremendous experience in the reforms; they are deepening the reforms, gradually expanding them, choosing the right path to development.

To date, there are 55 joint projects in the industrial sector, the total value of which is $ 27.4 billion.
