Zoomorphic images of ancient art are characterized by the mythological thinking of ancient times. The drama of good and evil, the beginning of new eras, opposition, all this is described as a symbol of perpetual motion. A vivid example of this is the replica of the double leopard, inherent in the technique of execution of products V-IV centuries. BC.

In connection with the emergence of the Christian and Muslim religion, the "beast style" gradually began to lose its original meaning. However, the images of animals continued to remain in art, as reflected in books, stone, and wood and bone products.

These customs are also reflected in the jewelry found by scientists in the Sairam Gorge. Also at the exhibition are presented unique archaeological finds of the Saki Taksay barrow (West Kazakhstan region), Taldy-2 (Karaganda region) and Berel (East Kazakhstan region).
